- Get in touch after you have sent your promo package to follow things up, and keep in touch.
- Always make sure you understand the deal.

- Always be punctual, and allow plenty of time for a sound check.
- Always try to present yourself professionally.
- Do not pay to play.
- Notify the local press of upcoming events and performances keep them up to date with your activities.
- Respect the guest list. Don’t expect that your friends will all be allowed in for free.
